Supplied in 1200mm x 600mm slabs, the higher-density outer surface is engineered to withstand the demands of on-site installation, while the resilient inner face adapts to irregularities in the substrate for a close fit. A factory-applied water-repellent agent helps reduce water transmission through the insulation, supporting reliable performance in ventilated façade applications.Duo slab insulation is easy to fit around brackets and awkward detailing, and when tightly butted with adjacent slabs, it creates a continuous layer of insulation that helps minimise heat loss caused by gaps. The dual-density construction also requires fewer fixings than standard stone wool slabs, helping to simplify installation and improve on-site efficiency. Rockwool Duo Slab 100mm is classified as Euroclass A1 non-combustible and is manufactured from up to 97% recycled material. It also features Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Zero Global Warming Potential (GWP), making it an effective insulation solution for modern ventilated cladding systems.
