| Knauf Sound Panel is a plasterboard that is developed to provide increased sound reduction. Its high density and tuned core help absorb sound providing improved acoustic performance. The Sound Panel also has increased fire and impact resistance compared to standard Wallboard. Manufactured from high-quality gypsum it is both strong and versatile, the boards have a blue paper face on one side and a brown reverse. The boards are ideally suited to receive different types of finishes, including direct decoration, tape & joint, plaster finish and more. Can be used in drywall partitions, wall linings and ceilings. Soundshield Plus is designed for use where sound reduction properties are required such as ceilings in acoustic floors, internal separating partitions, walls between flats, and more.
