150mm Knauf Dritherm 37 is a cavity slab insulation, with a thermal conductivity of 0.037W/mK. They are semi-rigid slabs made from water repellent Glass Mineral Wool, manufactured using Knauf’s unique ECOSE Technology. Dritherm 37 is used in full-fill masonry cavity walls to provide thermal performance, pre-cut at 455mm width to suit standard vertical spacing for wall ties. This ensures a snug fit, leaving no gaps with adjacent slabs. They are non-combustible with Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification. They are approved for use in buildings up to 12m high in any exposure zone and for use in multi-storey applications up to 25m in height. Dritherm 37 is easy to handle and install, the slabs are lightweight and easily cut to size where required. Supplied in polythene packaging which is designed for short-term protection. The slabs are easier to install than rigid boards because they adapt to small imperfections in the substrate and knit together which eliminates any air gaps. Evidence shows the absence of air gaps is crucial to achieve maximum performance. Dritherm 37 contains no ozone-depleting substances or greenhouse gases. Dritherm 37 Cavity Slabs are odourless, rot-proof, non-hygroscopic, do not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.
