RW3 25mm slab insulation is a high quality resin bonded insulation slab that provides thermal, acoustic and fire resistance, with a thermal conductivity of 0.034W/mK. Acoustic resistance is achieved by the structure of the fibres in the RW slab product that impede the transmission of sound through the structure or by absorbing the sound. They can be used in a wide range of applications such as metal and timber partitions, timber floors, timber roofs, masonry walls and more. They can be used in both new build and refurbishment projects. This product does not require any maintenance and flexibility allows for easy transportation and installation, they are also very strong and resilient. RW3 slabs have a density of 60kg/m3, this is far greater than standard glass fibre insulation rolls and helps provide excellent sound absorption qualities.
RW slabs are non-combustible with Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification. They are manufactured from up to 97% recycled material making the product environmentally friendly. They are rot-proof and non-hydroscopic do not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould, or bacteria. It also features Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Zero Global Warming Potential (GWP).
