Celotex CW4050 is a cavity wall PIR board for use within a partial fill cavity wall, they have a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK. The boards have a low emissivity foil facing on both sides giving improved thermal insulation performance in a sealed cavity air space. Suitable for new builds and extensions. Celotex CW cavity boards have a superior thermal value when compared to standard glass mineral wool slabs. The boards conveniently fit between cavity wall ties and retaining discs are used to offer retention. Manufactured from a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) that uses a blowing agent with a low global warming potential (GWP) and zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP). Achieves and A rating when compared to the BRE Green Guide. Installation of Celotex insulation boards provide reliable long-term energy savings for buildings.
