50mm Knauf Earthwool Acoustic APR Insulation Roll (15.6m2)
50mm Knauf Earthwool APR Acoustic insulation is a glass mineral wool roll, which offers sound absorption and noise reduction properties, whilst also providing thermal and fire performance. The rolls are lightweight, easy to cut, and designed to be friction fitted. It is non-combustible with Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification and is manufactured using Knauf Insulation’s ECOSE Technology. To find out more about ECOSE Technology click here. The rolls are 1200mm wide and ready to cut to produce 2 rolls in 600mm width. Using Glass Mineral Wool as a sound absorbent layer in partitions and floors considerably improves their acoustic performance. In internal walls Glass Mineral Wool complements plasterboard linings by absorbing airborne sound, and reducing reverberation, and is particularly effective at preventing the hollow sound that can occur in partitions with unfilled cavities. Knauf APR acoustic rolls are manufactured to a minimum 10kg/m3 density meeting the requirements outlined within relevant sound related building regulations. It is odourless, rot proof, non-hygroscopic, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria. Applications of 50mm Knauf Earthwool Acoustic APR Insulation Roll
