Rockwool RW3 50mm insulation slab is a high-density, resin-bonded stone wool slab that provides thermal, acoustic, and fire protection with a thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK. Supplied in 1200 x 600mm slabs with 5.76m² coverage, this 50mm Rockwool insulation has a density of 60kg/m³, delivering excellent sound absorption by reducing sound transmission through walls, floors, roofs, partitions, and other building elements. It is suitable for use in metal and timber partitions, timber floors, timber roofs, masonry walls, and a wide range of new build and refurbishment projects. Rockwool RW3 is non-combustible with a Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification and is manufactured from up to 97% recycled material. The slabs are rot-proof, non-hygroscopic, do not sustain vermin, and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould, or bacteria. They also feature Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP), providing long-lasting insulation performance without the need for maintenance. Properties
