50mm Rockwool RW5 Slab Insulation is a high-density resin bonded mineral wool slab developed to provide thermal, acoustic, and fire protection across a range of building applications. Supplied in a 1200 x 600mm size with 2.88m² coverage per pack, this 50mm insulation slab has a 100kg/m³ density and 0.034 W/mK thermal conductivity, making it suitable for use in metal and timber partitions, timber floors, roofs, masonry walls, and other construction systems. Available for bulk orders from 24 packs, it is ideal for larger projects requiring multiple packs of insulation. The dense fibre structure of Rockwool RW5 slabs 50mm helps absorb sound and reduce noise transmission through building elements, while the rigid construction provides strength, durability, and easy handling during installation. Suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, these slabs provide reliable performance without requiring ongoing maintenance. Rockwool 50mm insulation is non-combustible with a Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification and is manufactured using up to 97% recycled material. The slabs are rot-proof, non-hygroscopic, resistant to vermin, and do not encourage the growth of fungi, mould, or bacteria.
