Regupol® Acoustic Isolating Strips (REGUPOL Sonus 3912 Isolation Strips) is an effective way to reduce structure-borne noise. They are designed to sit beneath partition walls and can be used for both timber/metal stud frames and blockwork. These strips are available in various thicknesses, and the 3912 Self Adhesive Isolation Strip offers long-term performance without collapse or 'bottoming out' under high point loads. It can withstand loads up to 0.8N/mm2 with low-frequency performance achieved and is resistant to ageing and deformation. Regupol® Acoustic Isolating Strips are quick and easy to install, and their use minimizes construction heights. They come with various backings, including self-adhesive backing and Class 'O' foil facing, and are supplied with a protective film on both sides to prevent the ingress of mortar and moisture from the slab.
