90mm Kingspan Kooltherm K106 is a premium performance full fill cavity insulation that provides a thermal conductivity of just 0.019 W/mK. K106 has an outer facing made of a water-tight, vapour-open polypropylene fleece. The inner facing is a low emissivity composite foil. The core of K106 is a premium performance rigid thermoset phenolic insulation manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero ODP and low GWP. A 10 mm residual cavity width is recommended between the insulation and the outer leaf for wall heights up to 25 metres. The NHBC accepts the use of Kingspan Kooltherm K106 Cavity Board with a 10 mm residual cavity, except for fairfaced masonry applications in areas of very severe exposure.
