Where to Use
For painting all types of new, old and painted internal surfaces where an attractive finish with a smooth, velvety, matt surface is required. The product has low dirt pick-up and a high whiteness level.
To paint partially covered external surfaces protected against direct sunlight and rain.
The product’s special formulation makes it particularly suitable for painting all types of cementitious, lime and gypsum substrates which require a high degree of long-lasting protection and excellent permeability to water vapour which are easy to clean.
Some application examples
- Painting all types of internal walls and new, well-cured or old cementitious, lime and gypsum render and smoothing and levelling compounds, as long as they are regular, well-bonded and have no flaky or crumbly areas.
- Painting old and new external cementitious surfaces, including those already painted, as long as they are not exposed to particularly aggressive climatic conditions (such as stairwells, pillars and ceilings below covered areas, flat roofs, balconies and internal parapets on terraces).
Technical Characteristics
- Dursilite is a modified acryl resin-based washable matt paint in water dispersion with selected charges with good hiding power and a high whiteness level for internal walls.
- When applied on internal surfaces, Dursilite bonds perfectly to all types of masonry, render, smoothing and levelling compounds and old paintwork, as long as it is well attached and is not crumbling.
- Dursilite protects the substrate and gives it a highly attractive, uniform matt finish which is velvety to the touch.
- Dursilite is available in a wide range of colours, created using the ColorMap® automatic colouring system.
Consumption
- Consumption is heavily influenced by the absorption and roughness of the substrate, by the colour applied and according to the application technique used. Under normal conditions, consumption is generally 0.3-0.4 kg/m² (for two coats of the product).
