Acoustilay is easy to cut and shape, allowing seamless installation across floors. For hessian-backed carpet, use Acoustilay perimeter strips for a flush, seamless finish with carpet grippers installed directly on top. For laminate, vinyl, and bonded carpet finishes, Acoustilay MDF can be installed over Acoustilay to enhance stability and prevent surface damage. When installing engineered timber, no perimeter strips are needed; simply butt Acoustilay against the wall or skirting for a floating floor design that minimizes sound transfer.

• Acoustilay 3, 8, and 15: Select the appropriate grade for specific applications, with Acoustilay 8 and 15 offering enhanced noise reduction for timber floors.
• Stairs: For soundproofing stair treads, Acoustilay 3 provides impact noise reduction, while Acoustilay 8 and 15 include perimeter strips for added support and insulation.
