Wondertex's Prem Finish plasterboard finishing compound is suitable for finishing all plasterboard joints. It is developed for hand and machine jointing.

Surface Preparation:
- Inspect boards for quality before jointing.
- Ensure all boards are securely fixed and protruding screws or nails are driven in.
- Fill gaps larger than 3mm with Wondertex prem filler.
- Repair damaged boards before starting.
- Minor surface damage can be sanded with fine sandpaper.
- Deeper indentations and damaged areas can be filled with Wondertex prem filler.
- Extensive damage to the plasterboard core requires patching with new board.
Mixing:
- Use clean water, buckets, and tools.
- Mix ratio: 1 part water to 2 parts powder, or 12 litres of water per 25kg bag.
- Thoroughly mix Wondertex prem finish until lump-free.
- Let the mixed material stand for 5 minutes, then remix before use.
- Adjust consistency as needed, but avoid over-diluting.
Application and Fixing:
- Wondertex prem finish is suitable for use with various tapes.
- Apply filler to the trough of tapered edge joints.
- Center tape over the joint, and press down to release air bubbles.
- Leave filler under tape for good adhesion, remove excess.
- Apply more filler over the tape before it stiffens, making it flush with the surface.
- For self-adhesive tape, fix the tape firmly to the plasterboard, then apply filler.
- Once the filler is dry, apply the first coat of Wondertex prem finish to the joint.
- Apply a second coat of finish, feathering and smoothing edges.
- Sand surface smooth when dry, avoiding over-sanding.
